The objective of the test was to determine the maximum amount of energy wich the Softstop-system can absorb during an impact at a height of 50 cm, without failure i.e. breaking, bending and/or cracking of the system.
Results:
- Type 1: 1621 Joule
- Type 2: 2667 Joule
- Type 3: 12934 Joule
The table below gives the “holdpower” of just 1 Softstopelement with a frontal impact.
A rigid connection of 2 Softstop-elements gives the double “holdpower” etc. Ask our advice.
