Assembling instructions

Recommended anchors on concrete floor:

Collission tests were performed with so called “concrete-bolt anchors” of the “TOGE” brand, type: Toge TSM BS 14×165mm, drill diam. 14, depth 145mm.

If the anchor has to be waterproof (to prevent intrusion of liquids), a 2-component chemical anchor has to be utilized. In case of damaged/cracked concrete, chemical anchors have to be utilized as well. Recommended product is vinylester 2 component anchor, type “CHEMOFAST” from manufacturer “TOGE”, because of the low viscosity.

In case of potential extremely heavy collisions and/or less desirable concrete quality, the “TOGE” anchor type TSM BS 16×195, drill diam. 16mm, depth 155mm can also be utilized.

Attention: when drilling the hole, always drill at least one time the drill diameter deeper, in order to leave room for the concrete dust caused by the “thread cutting” action of the TOGE bolt.
